The Beginning

A short overview of me: My name is Jessica. I lived in Oregon until the age of 23. I then decided to join the Army, and went to Basic Training to join the Military Police Corps. I was stationed in Germany, then Kansas. I spent five years on active duty before joining the Kansas Army National Guard for another four years. During my time in the Army, I had the opportunity to travel all over the world and meet tons of different people. Some of the travel was with the military, and some of it was on my own time. I also during this time had joined a Subaru enthusiasts group, kcsubaru.com. It was with this group that I would meet my husband.

Fast forward to this time in my life. I'm out of the military, and no longer working for the government. I'm going to college to pursue my dream of becoming an Entomologist. While in college, I earn some of my money working part-time at a doggy daycare. I will have to admit that I will be sad when I have to get a real job someday. I love working at a doggy daycare! It's extremely fulfilling. Anyways, even though I'm no longer travelling the world, my husband and I are getting ready to get started on another journey: The journey to have a child. It's a pretty exciting prospect.
